Our Story
There is a resilient warrior in everyone.
But, it isn’t born out of comfort and convenience.
Seeking discomfort and challenge is a cornerstone of adapting physically, mentally and spiritually.
It’s better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war.
Ritual Recovery is built on an ethos of the idea that nature has a built-in self correcting and re-balancing mechanism that is always there, waiting to be remembered and unlocked - known as homeostasis.
We are an Australian Veteran run company, born out of an affinity with the water and a deep connection with finding optimal human health potential, performance, balance and wellbeing.
The realisation that cold water could be a source of growth, healing, focus and a way to simply feel more alive daily was just the beginning.
How it started
It started in the early days, up at the crack of dawn training in the elements for competitive Surf Live Saving. Training, discipline, active and interested in performance.
Drawn to the water, our founder Jayce, took the path of a Navy Clearance Diver and served for almost a decade. Cold exposure became a staple in the regime for bouncing back effectively from the stress of intense work and life. Nothing seemed to help to soothe aching muscles, injuries and mental load like a daily ice bath did. Ritual Recovery grew from the desire to share the transformative power of ice baths with the world. Now, we are proud to offer a range of ice baths for all needs, whether for the garage home gym or wellness area, helping thousands of others commit to healthy rituals that improve physical and mental wellbeing and performance.
