Traditional Sauna FAQ
Our traditional sauna is designed to deliver an authentic heat therapy experience that supports relaxation, recovery, and overall wellbeing. With a focus on comfort, performance and timeless design, it’s ideal for those looking to enjoy the proven benefits of sauna use, from improved circulation to reduced muscle tension, in the comfort of their own home.
-
We recommend using your sauna 3–4 times per week to experience the full range of benefits. Regular use supports recovery, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
-
A sauna session raises your core temperature, improving circulation, relaxing muscles and helping your body eliminate toxins through sweat. It’s a natural reset for the body and mind.
-
Saunas are generally safe, but if you have any health concerns or are pregnant, speak with your GP before starting. Always stay hydrated and listen to your body.

The Legion 2-Person Traditional Sauna is fitted with a 4.5 kW Harvia “The Wall” electric heater that heats the cabin to 80 °C or higher in just 30–45 minutes. It operates across a range of roughly 70–100 °C, giving you full control to dial in your ideal sweat and steam experience
-
Traditional (Finnish) saunas heat the air via a stone-covered heater, operating at 70–100 °C with 10–20% humidity—pour water on the rocks to create steam (löyly) for a classic, high-intensity heat and potent cardiovascular and detox benefits. Infrared saunas use infrared lamps to warm your body directly at lower temps (45–60 °C) with almost zero humidity; they’re more energy-efficient (1.5–2 kW per session), feel gentler on the skin yet penetrate deeper into muscles for recovery, but don’t replicate the traditional hot-steam ritual.
-
You can use the sauna at any time of day, depending on your goals. Many use it post-workout to recover, or in the evening to wind down before sleep.
-
Yes. Daily use is safe and can be highly beneficial. Just be sure to maintain good hydration and take breaks as needed.

When you step into a sauna, what you wear can make a big difference. Too much fabric blocks heat and sweat, so for the fullest experience it is best to go in with as little as possible, ideally naked. If you prefer covering up for privacy or when friends are around, a swimsuit is your next best option—it covers you decently without trapping too much heat. For extra coverage choose loose, lightweight cotton clothing such as a simple T-shirt and shorts, but avoid polyester or other synthetic fabrics, as when heated they can release chemicals that may absorb into your skin.
Whatever you wear, always bring a clean towel to sit or lie on to absorb sweat and keep the bench hygienic. Go barefoot to let your feet breathe; if you need foot protection use slip-on sandals or thongs. Remember to remove all metal jewelry before entering since it can heat up and burn your skin. Enjoy your sauna safely and comfortably!
-
Wipe down the bench and walls after use, leave the door open to air out, and follow your user guide for deeper cleaning and ongoing maintenance.
