Ideal for cold plunge recovery at home, for sporting teams post match, or for workshops and community events, our portable unit inflates extremely hard for a super sturdy feel and design for both semi-permanent installation or portable use. The plunge tub takes just 10 minutes to setup and inflate, giving you the freedom to create a hot or cold plunge wherever you go.
The chiller unit requires a very easy assembly with the tub and provides a temperature range of 3C - 40C and hits minimum temperature in a matter of hours. Using roughly as much energy as a household chest freezer, our plunge tub can be controlled remotely via the WIFI connectivity smart app for a cold plunge routine at your fingertips.
With every Ritual Recovery Stoic™ Portable Ice Bath you receive a lockable, insulated inflatable cover, matching carry bag, absorbent non-slip mat, hand pump, water skimming net, 5 x replacement filters (when bought with chiller unit) and repair kit. An ice bath or cold plunge is a cold water immersion therapy tool whereby the body is submerged in cold water, typically between 5-15 degrees Celsius.

While everyone is different, start with as little as 30 seconds in the ice bath and gradually increase your exposure as you become more adapted to the cold. Once you are conditioned to the cold, you can aim for 2-3 minutes of cold exposure, a few times per week.

Yes! Every Stoic™ comes with a lockable, inflatable lid with a combination lock and buckles that makes it kid safe and keeps the water cold and unwanted particles out of your plunge tub.

The Chiller features a 20 micron washable and replaceable paper filter that we recommend changing out once per month based on a single daily plunge. You can adjust this based on your usage - it’s important to wash off before each plunge to extend the life of your filters!

Again, this is highly dependant on how often and how many people are using the Stoic, as well as how well you practice pre-plunge hygeine. We recommend a water change out at least once every month or sooner to keep things fresh.

The metal filter is super important to keep clean. With our older model chiller, we recommend washing out your metal filter once every few days as this small filter can build up with hair and fluff quite quickly. With our newer model chiller (internal metal filter), you can service the filter once every month or sooner. When your flow rate drops below 16L/min consistently, this is a good indicator to wash your metal filter out.
