Ritual Recovery Warrior™ Ice Bath Tub

An ice bath or cold plunge is a cold water immersion therapy tool whereby the body is submerged in cold water, typically between 5-15 degrees Celsius.

While everyone is different, start with as little as 30 seconds in the ice bath and gradually increase your exposure as you become more adapted to the cold. Once you are conditioned to the cold, you can aim for 2-3 minutes of cold exposure, a few times per week.

The Warrior Ice Bath is a formidable ice bath for those looking to upgrade their plunge rituals. The Warrior features powder coated metal exterior for indoor and outdoor suited design, red cedar timber panelled top with breath deck, and a polypropylene interior tub for efficient cooling - all powered by our 1HP or 2HP automated hot and cold capable WIFI controlled chiller unit.

The Warrior takes very little time to set up and requires no additional plumbing. Simply unbox your Warrior, place it in a well ventilated space, fill with water and power on your chiller.

The Chiller unit included with the Warrior (Standard or Pro) plugs straight into a 10A outlet - you require a water safe, dedicated earthed outlet installed by a licensed electrician.

No - the plumbing and hoses are all internally operated to the Warrior and the drainage valve is compatible with a standard 12mm or 18mm garden hose adapter for easy filling and drainage.

Yes - our Warrior is complete with an insulated lid which sits recessed on the top of the tub for a clean look, added cooling efficiency and to keep out unwanted particles in between uses.

The Chiller features a 20 micron washable and replaceable paper filter that we recommend changing out once per month based on a single daily plunge. You can adjust this based on your usage - it’s important to wash off before each plunge to extend the life of your filters!

Again, this is highly dependant on how often and how many people are using the Warrior, as well as how well you practice pre-plunge hygiene. We recommend a water change out at least once every month or sooner to keep things fresh.

The metal filter is super important to keep clean. With our older model chiller, we recommend washing out your metal filter once every few days as this small filter can build up with hair and fluff quite quickly. With our newer model chiller (internal metal filter), you can service the filter once every month or sooner. When your flow rate drops consistently below 16L/min consistently, this is a good indicator to wash your metal filter out.

Our Warrior™ can be purchased with our Standard 1HP Chiller or the Pro 2HP Chiller.

While both of these chillers offer the same temperature range (3C-40C), the difference is in the speed at which the chiller can cool or heat the volume of water in the Warrior.

We recommend the Standard 1HP option for the average user, while we suggest the Pro 2HP Chiller for high traffic spaces that require rapid cooling ability to keep up with frequent use throughout the day.
